Synopsis

Written in 2008 by the gritty British playwright, Chris O'Connell, Zero is set in a future where hundreds of military camps have been created to extract information - at any cost - from suspected enemy combatants of the Global Economic Alliance, a supreme governance created by the wealthiest nations.

Alex, a translator at Camp Zero, is shocked to find that torture and coercion are the only tactics employed in the interrogation rooms. He is compelled to expose the brutal inhumanity that occurs regardless of whether or not the detainees are indeed terrorists. In a world consumed with self-fulfillment, Alex and everyone around him discover that exposing the truth can bring the downfall of reason.
