WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A musical look at facing a crossroad in life and holding onto your dreams, tick, tick... BOOM! tells the story of a young composer on the brink of turning 30 and falling into oblivion. His girlfriend wants to get married and move out of the city; his best friend is making big bucks on Madison Avenue; and he's still waiting tables and trying to write the great American musical. With fourteen songs, ten characters, three actors, and a band, this musical takes you on the playwright/composer's journey that led to the Broadway blockbuster Rent. The original musical was written as a solo performance by Jonathan Larson, and the new version features script consultation by David Auburn.
