WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Broadway In Chicago hosts the world premiere pre-Broadway engagement of The Addams Family, a new musical based on the bizarre family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams.

The production will feature direction and design by Phelim McDermott and Julian Crouch, book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, choreography by Sergio Trujillo, lighting by Natasha Katz, and musical direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell.

good cast and special effects, but they cant rescue the inane, predictable plot......many of the musical numbers difficult to understand and seemed excessively long.....surprisingly somewhat of a snooze....caught a few people around me checking their watches
