Someone Who'll Watch Over Me is the tale of brotherhood in the face of dire circumstances. It reunites three original Piven Ensemble members and is directed by Piven Artistic Director, Jennifer Green. Brooks Darrah, Paul Dunckel, and James Vincent Meredith star in the production taking on the roles of an Englishman, and Irishman and an American who have been taken captive in the Middle East. Chained to the wall in an isolated cell, victims of political imprisonment, powerless to initiate change; the three rely on each other to avoid falling victim to the madness of their plight. The story explores the daily crisis endured by hostages whose strength comes from communication - both subtle and mundane, from humor, wit and faith.
