James Asmus, winner of the 2001 World's Playwright Competition, wrote Love is Dead and plays Orin, an introverted mortician who has "professional boundary issues." Andrew Hobgood directs.
Orin gets nervous that his secrets will be unearthed when a geneticist comes to town to help solve a spat of serial murders. Orin quickly finds he has more to lose than he originally thought as he falls in love with a living, breathing woman.
While Love is Dead is a sophisticated, dark comedy, it is also a story of murder and betrayal and as such contains ADULT MATERIAL. DISCRETION ADVISED.
