Quest Theatre Ensemble presents Into the Woods. With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, the musical tells the story of the fairytale favorite Baker and his Wife who have been cursed with childlessness by the witch next door. The two embark on a quest for special objects to break the spell, which forces them to swindle, lie and steal from Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Jack (yes, the one who climbed the beanstalk). At the end of Act One, everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them with disastrous results.
