In the premiere of Housework, by Chicago playwright Brooke Allen, a family
faces eviction from their messy home unless they can get it cleaned out and up
to code in thirty days. While sifting through the avalanche of junk each family
member must find a way to dig themselves, and each other, out from underneath
their sorted pasts.
