WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Ever dream of being Elvis for the day? The Marriott Theatre invites all Chicagoans to show their love for the King of Rock 'n Roll by wearing their Blue Suede Shoes, sequins and leisure suits to the hit musical All Shook Up. Any theatergoer dressed as Elvis will receive a certificate to redeem for two free tickets to a Marriott production of their choice in 2009 (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Light in Piazza, Hairspray, or My Fair Lady). To obtain their certificate, costumed "Elvises" should visit the box office 30 minutes prior to the show.
The Marriott Theatre presents All Shook Up, a rock and roll story based on songs by Elvis and Shakespeare's Twelfth Night.
Taking place in the summer of 1955 in the Midwest, All Shook Up is the story of Natalie, a young girl with dreams of hitting the road, and Chad, a charismatic rebel who brings rock and roll to the town and changes it forever.
The action-packed musical production features Elvis favorites including, "Jailhouse Rock," "Blue Suede Shoes," "A Little Less Conversation," and "Hound Dog."
