Sketch comedy duo, The Union, comprised of married couple Corey Rittmaster and Monique Madrid, will present the original sketch revue Ward & June Are Dead at the Annoyance Theater, November 16-December 28. Kate Duffy will direct.

The piece takes typical relationships and situations to a surprising dark side. Sketches and songs range from such topics as nervous expectant parents, a couple picking out videos, the relationship between a ventriloquist and his dummy, and what really goes on in the department store dressing room.

Rittmaster and Madrid have been a couple since 2003 and married since 2005, and The Union was officially forged in 2007. They have performed with such groups as ComedySportz, iO (formerly ImprovOlympic), and are currently ensemble members of Laugh Out Loud Theater.
