First Folio Theatre Announces 2009-2010 Season

By Tristan Fuge • Jun 23, 2009 • Chicago

First Folio Theatre has announced the line up for their 2009-2010 season, which will open with David Rice's The Castle of Otranto, September 30-November 1, based on Horace Walpole's 1764 novel. Considered to be one of the first Gothic novels, Walpole's story centers on Manfred, lord of the castle, and his family. Margaret Raether's Jeeves in Bloom will follow, January 27-February 28, based on stories by P.G. Wodehouse about the antics of Bertie Wooster and his ingenious butler Jeeves.

Kevin McKillip's Will Rogers: An American Original, March 31-May 2, will explore the Rogers legacy. The season will close with Twelfth Night, July 6-August 8, Shakespeare's playful tale of separated siblings and mistaken identities.
