Bare Boned Theatre's world premiere of The Hecubae will take place at the West Stage of the Raven Theatre Complex, August 8 - 30. The production will be directed by Jeffrey Bouthiette, one of the two founders of the company.

The play -- adapted by Rebekah Walendzak and Bouthiette from Euripides' Hecuba, and featuring an all-female cast -- examines the plight of women prisoners of war across history, using dramaturgical research from current refugee situations.

The cast will include Beth Allin, Samantha Garcia, Lorraine Freund, Sienna Harris, Earliana McLaurin, Cynthia Shur, and Drew Leigh Williams.
