Darrell W. Cox, Mattie Hawkinson, Rick Snyder, et al. Set for American Theater Company’s 2010-2011 Season

American Theater Company has announced its plans for its 2010-2011 season, which will include a 40th anniversary revival Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey’s Grease. The production, scheduled to run in April and May of 2011 will use a revision of the show’s original book, music and lyrics and will feature restored scenes and characters. PJ Paparelli will direct the production.

Also on the theater’s schedule are a rotating repertory of David Mamet’s Speed the Plow and Oleanna. Directed by Rick Snyder, the productions will feature Darrell W. Cox, Mattie Hawkinson, and Lance Baker and will run September-October.

Rounding out the American Theater Company’s 2010-2011 season will be the world premiere of Dan LeFranc’s look at an American family over five generations, The Big Meal (February-March 2011), directed by Dexter Bullard; and a 9th annual staging of Jason W. Gerace’s It’s a Wonderful Life: The Radio Play (November-December).
