WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The action begins when Max and his father are faced with the ritual conflict of bedtime. Max's dad works to get his son to bed by reading favorite Sendak stories such as Hector Protector set to music. As these stories come to life in Max's bedroom, he becomes more mischievous and naughty. Finally Max is ordered to bed without any dinner. He then begins his musical journey to Where The Wild Things Are!
