Joey Slotnick and longtime collaborator Lauren Katz investigate "the middle class adventure," in which life's drama is frequently of the self-generated variety, because "real" life-and-death issues are often in the news or in the movies, but rarely part of lived experience. Wants and Needs attempts to uncover the veiled agendas and subconscious desires that motivate so many of our encounters in the land of plenty.
