Sheldon Patinkin directs Uncle Vanya in a new translation by Steppenwolf artistic associate Curt Columbus. Vanya and his niece Sonya have been running their estate with a dependable certainty that can only be born of routine. This quiet life explodes when an aging relation arrives with his sexy new trophy wife. Buried passions and forgotten dreams erupt with hilarious and heartbreaking results.
