In May 2008, Uncle Vanya, in a new translation by Yasen Peyankov and Peter Christensen and directed by Zeljko Djukic, became TUTAs fastest selling show in the companys history. This sold out and critically acclaimed production, featuring live musical performances embedded in a 110 year old masterpiece marks the conclusion of TUTAs Russian Theatre Festival. In January, audiences embarked on the fantastical journey of Oleg Bogaev's Maria's Field and a reading of Mr. Bogaev's play Russian National Postal Service.
