WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Horton Foote's The Trip to Bountiful is the remarkable story of a woman's journey to regain the strength, dignity, and peace of mind that only her childhood home can provide. Mrs. Watts longs to see her childhood home in Bountiful. But that means escaping the very watchful, untrusting eye of her daughter-in-law and
upsetting her brow-beaten son who has long since misplaced his happiness. Though her spirit is damaged she is determined to break from these clutches. With son and daughter-in-law in hot pursuit, Carrie Watts sets off on her
journey, and finds not all is lost to age.
The opening night gala has a ticket price of $50.
