WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
In The Time of Your Life, it is San Francisco, 1939. Surrounded by a world on the brink of war and ravaged by Depression, Nick's Pacific Street Saloon attracts an assortment of "important nobodies" who share the common bond of searching for purpose. Their dreary routines of survival are sparked by brilliant flashes of hope and beauty as the events of a single day change all their lives forever. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, this poetic tribute to optimism and dreams encourages the characters, and the audience, to spend the time of their lives truly living.
