Emerald City Theatre Company presents the wacky humor of Jon Scieska and Lane Smith's Caldecott-winning children's book The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales in a 60-minute live musical version featuring the talents of Second City veteran TJ Shanoff. Fairy tale favorites like Cinderella, Rumplestiltskin, Little Red Hen, Foxy Loxy, the Ugly Stepmother and Stepsister pop up in twisted, preposterous vignettes including "Cinderumplestiltskin or the Girl Who Really Blew It," "The REALLY Ugly Duckling," and of course, the malodorous "Stinky Cheese Man." Schedule Variations: In addition to the regular schedule, performances are arranged for Thursdays and Fridays, February 1, 2, 8, 9, 15 and 16 at 10:15am. There are no performances on Sunday, Feb. 25; Saturday, Mar. 3; or Saturday, Mar. 10. Recommended for ages 5 and up.
