WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A young couple has a baby- or do they? An older couple, intruding on the young couple's Eden, say they don't. The events that ensue call into question both couples' sense of reality and fiction, joy and sorrow. In Edward Albee's startlingly comedic play, all rules are broken as innocence collides with experience and the meaning of life is found in the nuances of language. Goodman Artistic Associate David Petrarca directs The Play About the Baby.
