WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Quest Theatre Ensemble presents the world premiere musical, The People's Passion Play, which chronicles the creation of the universe and key Biblical events through the Passion and Resurrection. The musical is written by award-winning, Chicago-based Playwright/Director/Puppeteer Andrew Park with original music by Scott Lamps. Follow a folk trio on an entertaining, humorous and ultimately moving journey through time as they belt old hymns, spirituals and folk tunes in the great American tradition. The People's Passion Play is sure to delight the entire family with its memorable music. Audiences will be captivated by Quest's signature use of large-scale puppetry.
