WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Will Magdalena become Magdalena? Sixteen-year-old Magdalena loves Sarah without hesitation. But on the eve of entering adulthood, outside forces--parents, boys, and society--threaten to tear them apart. Most menacing, Magdalena realizes she will need to disentangle herself in order to find her own way. The Last Sleepover asks the question: Do we lose ourselves in the process of finding "the One"?
