greasy joan & company presents the American premiere of playwright Pam Gems' contemporary take on Henrik Ibsen's The Lady From the Sea. The desire for freedom becomes as irresistible as the undertow in one of Ibsen's more symbolic plays. Ellida, constantly drawn to the sea, must choose between the man she married and the past life she is unable to forget.
