WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Martin Casella's new comedy The Irish Curse is a hilarious look at the lives of four men who attend a support group at a Catholic Church that enables them to navigate life in our super-sized world.
The play is set in a church hall where Father Kevin Shaunessy leads a group consisting of Rick Baldwin, Joseph Flaherty, and Stephen Fitzgerald, a student, lawyer, and cop. When young Kieran Riley arrives unexpectedly, we being a journey of poignant and affirming revelations. Performed as a staged reading to benefit the development of new plays at Bailiwick Repertory. James Pelton directs.
