Tristan has a great job working for the environment! After the New Depression of the early 21st century, the government has instated the Draft Program to help reduce the population in a humane way. Tristan is content working for the cause until his wife's number comes up. Forced to choose between his principles and his wife, Tristan is faced with one vital question: should he desert the society he has been fighting so fiercely to protect or should he sacrifice his love for the good of the society?
