WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Goodman Theatre celebrates the work of one of America's greatest playwrights when it presents The David Mamet Festival during March and April of 2006 on both its Albert and Owen stages. The festival includes: A major revival of Mamet's A Life in the Theatre, staged by Goodman Artistic Director Robert Falls Mamet's latest work, Romance, presented in the Owen Theatre Evenings of Mamet's one-act plays Saturday morning presentations of Mamet's family play, The Revenge of the Space Panda or Binky Rudich and the Two Speed Clock. The festival also features An Evening with David Mamet, led by long-time Chicago Tribune theater critic Richard Christiansen.
