WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Chicago's holiday tradition returns in it's biggest production ever! The Christmas Schooner is a musical for the whole family to enjoy. Come to the Mercury before the show to enjoy cookies and cocoa provided by Cullen's Bar & Grill, and stay after for a post-show dialogue with members of the cast and the director.
The whole family will enjoy this heart-warming story of the first Christmas tree ship, and the people who risked their lives to deliver trees to the German immigrants waiting at the Clark Street docks. This is an all new production of the musical that entertained audiences in hundreds of productions including a twelve year run at Chicago's Bailiwick Repertory Theatre.
