WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Based on the story by Roald Dahl, and adapted for the stage by David Wood, The BFG follows orphan Sophie as she is snatched from her bed by the quirky - but harmless - Big Friendly Giant. The Giant uses a trumpet to blow dreams into children's ears and he and Sophie become friends, join forces against a few other mischievous giants, and have a fantastic adventure of laughs and magical entertainment. The BFG is recommended for ages 5 and up. Seniors (over 60) and DePaul employees/alumni can receive a discount on tickets with a valid ID. There are no performances on January 27th, 30th, February 1st or 3rd.
