WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Tony Award winning musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, follows a quirky mix of adolescents discovering themselves as they vie for the spelling bee championship in this witty & wise Broadway hit about the coming of age…Much like Glee on stage, these misfits find a way to stand out and fit in, learning that winning isn't everything.
Before every performance of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, audience volunteers are recruited to participate on stage as guest spellers. Each show guarantees a new set of hilarious & unexpected experiences - one night is just as unique as the one before it.
