Theatre Building Chicago's Musical Theatre Writers Workshop
presents its annual Mini-Musicals. The challenge is unique;
the outcome is musical creativity at its best.
5 teams from TBC's Musical Writers Workshop take a common theme,
phrase and note sequence to create unique, fresh new musicals.
All numbers will incorporate the line "Excuse, can we focus here..."
and the lyric "a tattered map".
This year's theme is A Journey woth Taking.
Timing in at about 10 minutes each, see all 5 presentations on
Sunday June 14th at 3PM and Monday June 15th at 7PM.

Mini-Musicals Titles and Creators include -
HARD TIMES - Book by Roger Kosti, music by Matt Kriedowski, Lyrics by Deborah Graham.
NET BLING - book and lyrics by Janet Burroway, music by Cris Wo.
MAXWELL - book by Marlene Necheles, music by Josh Walker, Lyrics by Ashley Spencer.
BEN AND THE BEAN - book by Christopher Audain, music by Sidney Friedman, lyrics by Dan Wessels.
MARITAL COIL - Book and lyrics by Sean M. Wagner,music by Roger Winship.

The cast includes - Amber Burgess, Elizabeth Hope Morgan, Jackie Prater, Adam Shalzi, Jeffrey A. Ward. The musicals are directed by Allan Chambers
with music direction by Jessica A. Hunt.
Dramaturgy is by John Sparks,
Artistic Director of TBC's Musical Writers Workshop.
