Written by Molière Directed by Jonathan Wilson In one of his most famous and incisive plays, Molière uses biting wit to juxtapose good and bad, wisdom and folly. A guest at a wealthy estate swindles his way into his host's inheritance. Orgon, head of the household, becomes obsessed with the trickster Tartuffe and his façade of religious piety, but deception lurks everywhere in the world of this subversive comedy.
