WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The legendary tale brought to life for children with traditional African rhythms, dance, masks and costumes. Gentle Sundiata, son of King Maghan of Mali, is prophesied to defeat the powerful Sumanguru and bring Mali into a Golden Age. As a decade passes, the aging king fears that his young son may not have the wisdom and courage to fulfill the oracle. The story follows young Sundiata as he faces his nemesis Sumanguru.
