As part of CST Festival, Chicago Shakespeare Theater Associate Artistic Director Gary Griffin directs the Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical masterpiece, Sunday in the Park with George. The show is based on the imagined life of French Impressionist Georges Seurat and the creation of his famous painting A Sunday on La Grande Jatte-part of the permanent collection at the Art Institute of Chicago. There are no performances on December 24, December 25, or January 1. On December 31 there are two shows: 5:00pm ($58) and 9:00pm ($75, includes special champagne intermission.)
