WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Four talented actor/musicians tell the story of a grumpy bachelor determined to stay at home on New Year's Eve, until a chance encounter with a door-to-door light bulb salesgirl changes his life and view of the holidays. Join BoHo Theatre this holiday season for Striking 12, a fun, secular, "un-Holiday" Holiday show! Striking 12 is the concert-with-a-story, band-is-the-actors musical event created by Tony Award-winning writer Rachel Sheinkin (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) and the piano/violin/drum theatrical power trio GrooveLily. Combining pop-rock, musical comedy, and old-fashioned uplift with a healthy dose of 21st-century skepticism, Striking 12 is a unique hybrid of musical theatre and live concert.
