WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Steve March Tormé, son of the legendary Mel "The Velvet Fog" Tormé, settles in this summer for a limited 6-week run at Arlington Heights' Metropolis Performing Arts Centre for the Chicago debut of Tormé Sings Tormé, his rousing new musical tribute to his father.
Dubbed "the Sinatra of his generation," March Tormé and his 10-piece orchestra presents this critically acclaimed, multimedia presentation, which boasts the extraordinary Dektette arrangements Marty Paich penned exclusively for the Velvet Fog, and never before seen photos and video clips of Steve and Mel performing together.
No shows July 29-31, August 12-14, or August 26-28.
