Sexual Perversity in Chicago takes "funny and painful digs at the fantasies and distances of the contemporary sexual game" (The New York Times). It shows a couple of months in the lives of four young professionals in "sex-crazed" 1973 Chicago. Bernie and Joan, the seemingly experienced ones, advise Daniel and Deborah on how to be together in the new age of sexual exploration and understanding. Does anyone really know what makes things works? In the end we see, once again, that the more things change the more they stay the same. Rated R
