Currently celebrating its 21st anniversary, River North Chicago Dance Company performs at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts. Under the artistic direction of Frank Chaves, this company of contemporary dancers of unparalleled talent performs new works and favorites from their critically acclaimed repertoire.

The performance at the Centre East Theatre features a preview of the highly anticipated new work by sought-after contemporary choreographer Sidra Bell. The work is set to original music composed by her father, celebrated jazz pianist and composer Dennis Bell. Additional programming includes newly appointed artistic director designate of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Robert Battle's powerful male trio "Three;" RNCDC Artistic Director Frank Chaves' full company tour de force "Forbidden Boundaries" and silky duet "Fixe," Kevin Iega Jeff's stunning and emotional "Sky" and American Ballet Theatre commissioned choreographer Lauri Stallings' "Suppose," an expressive seven-dancer piece.
