WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
This holiday Chicago faces its first Christmas without Marshall Fields. That's a sad and frightening prospect for some Chicagoans. Never fear! Shantz Theatre mourns the loss (and welcomes Macy's) with their sketch comedy show, Requiem for a Department Store, or How Jesus Taught Me to Shop at Macy's.
Remember everything that you hate about the holidays? Well, so does Shantz. From annoying family members, overbearing coworkers, mandatory parties, heck, even warring religions -- this holiday sketch extravaganza has it all. No holiday season is complete without this show. Merry Christmakwanzachah!
