WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Proof centers around Catherine who sacrificed her youth and formal education to care for her father, a mathematical genius, during the worst of his mental deterioration. He leaves behind 103 mysterious notebooks, Catherine's estranged sister and a former graduate student for her to sort out. At the heart of the play is Catherine's struggle to determine how much of her father's genius or madness she will inherit.
