Created by our Ensemble and written by resident playwright Clint Sheffer, this original stage work is inspired by Springsteen's pivotal Nebraska album. When a bridge which links a small river island in rural New Jersey with the mainland collapses, some unsavory elements take advantage of the residents' isolation to further their own twisted ends. The ensuing violence, lost innocence, and struggles with identity bring together the misanthropic island inhabitants, even as outside forces threaten to tear them apart.
