Mouse in a Jar tales place in a basement apartment where Ma and her daughters, Zosia and Daga, live in fear of 9:00pm when the nightmarish HIM thunders home drunk and ready to fight. When the beloved eldest Zosia disappears stranding her sister and mother in violent chaos, Daga vows to free Ma and win her love and approval. Determined to succeed where her sister failed, Daga sets herself on a collision course with a mother who refuses to be saved.
