WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

New theater troupe American Demigods debut production is Monks in Trouble, a theological horror comedy by Marc Heiden, directed by Rory Leahy. In a remote corner of the world, the brothers of a secluded monastary find their world is literally disappearing around them. Trapped in the path of an unholy, insatiable void, five very different men can only hope to survive by facing their darkest selves.

Also featuring The Short Stack, a pair of short plays, written by Reina Hardy and directed by Gabriel Pastrana.

My husband and I were delighted seeing Marc Heiden's rich comedy Monks in Trouble. The 5 very talented actors; two who stand out ; Dan Cooney and Ken Craig, take their audience on a journey seeking the answer to a soulful mystery. This is perfect entertainment for a weekend; light enough to separate oneself from the work week; with a shadow encroaching.
