WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Adapted from the Manuel Puig novel, this musical explores the complex relationship between two men caged together in a Latin American prison for political reasons. Valentin dreams of his wife and the revolution he once led, while Molina, a gay window-dresser spins nightly yarns of romance and intrigue featuring Aurora, a B-Movie actress. And when the Spiderwoman comes to glorious musical life, Kiss of the Spider Woman casts a spell that is breathtaking, heartfelt, and profound. Susan Finque directs.
