WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Having established himself as one of the greatest interpreters of The Great American Songbook, John Pizzarelli has given his own twist to compositions by everyone from Richard Rodgers and George Gershwin to James Taylor and John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
Pizzarelli's recorded more than two dozen albums and worked with various musicians, including his father, the famed Bucky Pizzarelli, Rosemary Clooney and his wife, Jessica Molaskey. Additionally, the guitarist and his wife co-host a nationally syndicated radio show, Radio Deluxe with John Pizzarelli.
The April 28 performance includes a free pre-performance MAC chat from 7 to 7:40 p.m. in Room 139.
