Job Opportunity, a play in a car by Ralph Concepcion, is set in a 1985 Delta 88 Oldsmobile as the vehicle navigates the streets of Chicago's Northside. With a maximum audience of four seated in the backseat, the two actors in front play out the story of a couple of down-on-their-luck Chicago guys wrestling with the moral and ethical dilemmas this "Job Opportunity" presents. The intimate setting, combined with the bustling street life surrounding the car, create a sometimes dangerous and thrilling ride. Akin to being lost inside one's own mini-movie, the audience is left guessing who are actors and who are just "atmosphere" players.
