WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Denise La Grassa presents her one-woman performance piece Is There Anything Going On Upstairs?, directed by Dale Calandra. The play is a theatrical jam of characters and original jazz songs under projected animation, with La Grassa playing a variety of multi-ethnic characters "finding a way up the stairs of their lives." The homeless street poet and singer named Tick is the only one who really knows what's going on "upstairs."
