WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Ensemble member John Malkovich returns to direct Terry Johnson's comedy about the last days of Sigmund Freud. The setting is 1939. Sigmund Freud has relocated from Nazi-occupied Vienna to a quiet London suburb in hopes of settling down. A naked woman in a closet, the destruction of Freud's latest publication, and a berating by Salvador Dali soon disrupt Freud's retirement. Come find out why the father of psychoanalysis is so close to hysteria. -rl
