WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Chicago's own musical theater diva Hollis Resnick will take center stage on Chicago Shakespeare's courtyard theater to mark the official release of her debut solo CD, Make Someone Happy. The song list for the concert features many of Ms. Resnick's personal musical theater favorites including "The Barbara Song," from Kurt Weill's Threepenny Opera, a jazz version of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?" from The Sound of Music , and of course, Jule Styne's "Make Someone Happy" from Do Re MI.
In addition to the concert, Ms. Resnick will autograph copies of the CD at a post-show reception.
