Hobo Junction has noticed that things are looking a little grim this fall: Oil Spills, Recession, iPohone 4 is just "OK", etc., so we put our heads together and decided...we'll do something we've done before. But more of it and spice it up. The Hobo Robo New Comedy Festival pits playwright against playwright, in a battle royal for a grand cash prize. Last time, our writers paid a $10 entry fee and attempted to win it back, but this time, since times are tough, the playwrights have entered FOR FREE and the pay-off is even better. Instead of readings that the audience gets to vote on, we're doing fully staged versions of each of the entries to create a night of eight works of comedy for the folks at home to relax to and get way from the hard times. The reason? Hobo Junction likes you. We believe in you and figure you need a night off. And so we're giving you THREE chances to see them. And it's only $7 bux.
