As though seen through the lens of a combination time machine and bawdy, old-time kinescope, Michael John LaChuisa's Hello Again criss-crosses beds and jumps from decade to decade, intimately examining the painful secrets that drive characters into each others' arms and towards the bruising effects of reckless passion. Saturday, June 21st: A Champagne brunch launches Off the Page 3: A Dialogue with Broadway Composer/Lyricist Michael John LaChiusa, moderated by Chicago journalist Jonathan Abarbanel, of The Windy City Times and radio station WBEZ. The topics of the Dialogue will cover his current projects, the process of getting a musical to Broadway, and the creation of Hello Again.
Brunch at 11:30 a.m., & Dialogue beginning at 12:30 p.m.
